Making Learning Matter More

So much of what still transpires in training sessions, workshops, and major conferences fails to reflect what we have long known about adult learning and basic human nature. Logistics trump learning far too often.

In the April 2007 issue of Association Meetings, writer Dave Kovaleski tackles this reality head-on in a piece entitled Education Grows Up. I'm flattered to be quoted prominently in the article alongside good friend and inspiration, Joan Eisenstodt, and a few associations with which I've had the good fortune to collaborate.

Dave has produced an excellent thought piece, so if you're interested in making elarning matter more, I'd encourage you to give it a thoughtful read. We have much work to do.
