Meeting by design: Godin's take

As always, Seth Godin is able to execute a great riff on a timely topic: what meetings and conferences need to be offering to justify the increasing costs and hassles associated with traveling to them.

My favorite quote is his concluding line:
The new rule seems to be that if you're going to spend the time and money to see someone face-to-face, be in their face.  interact or stay home!
If you have anything to do with conference design and planning I strongly encourage you to read his post, share it with your colleagues, and then put his thinking into action.  Godin is saying what many of our attendees have long been thinking.
